Summary: We loved staying here! This was the most well equipped house we’ve ever stayed in. We had everything we could need and more. It was great to stay in one of the historic homes of Galena. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Perfect for my family of 4-5 adults. In town for a family wedding. Hills did make walking downtown impossible. No Ubers, hard to find transportation downtown be prepared to drive. But the hills, narrow, winding streets are what make Galena charming. Nice outdoor space. Kitchen perfect as I had to prep a wedding cake.

Summary: We had a great few days staying in Galena. Was easy to walk into town and back which was great both during the day and for dinner. Very well equipped house for those who prefer to stay in and cook. Recommended!

Summary: Enjoyed our time in Galena! Had to drive everywhere, since I had an elderly person with me who could not have walked the hills. A little tricky for her to get down the stairs to the front door of the house but the sturdy railing helped. The main floor bedroom and bathrooms were great for her. No bathrooms on the second floor, but that was OK for those of us who slept up there. Was glad there were two bathrooms. I really liked having no house chores to do the morning we left. Only had to put the key in the lock box. The house gave us a lovely opportunity to visit, make meals and relax.
